All renters must provide an insurance policy to rent an RV from San Diego RV 4 Rent because the renter is responsible for all damages caused during their rental. For this reason, we offer two options to choose from.
Insurance Option 1
First and best would be to contact your auto insurance agent and ask if they can provide you temporary insurances coverage on an RV Rental. This is sometimes called a “Binder” or “Certificate”. Currently, we know of the following insurance companies that will offer an acceptable Binder at very low cost or no cost to you: 21st Century, AAA, AIG Insurance, Allstate, Farmers, State Farm, USAA, or Wachovia. San Diego RV 4 Rent will need to be added to your policy binder as a “Loss Payee” and “Additional Insured”. Please note that your insurance must be full coverage to include comprehensive, collision, and liability.
Insurance Option 2
Unfortunately, mishaps occasionally happen out on the road. But, rest assured we have you covered with Liberty Mutual Insurance. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are covered with $1 million in liability and $500,000 in comprehensive and collision with a $1,500 comprehensive and collision deductible on a per occurrence basis.
